Our place is a ‘villetta a schiera’ apartment that has two floors and can sleep up to 4 people. The apartment is totally renovated in 2018 and has lots of comfort. It is situated a bit in altitude (2 minutes from Lake Iseo) with the most beautiful view on Lake Iseo and the famous Monte Isola!

Beaches and Swimming

There is a little beach in the village of Tavernola which is comfortable. The water quality is very good and checked frequently and published online. There is a very nice beach at only 10 minutes driving: Lido Nettuno. There is a very nice and big pier, bars, restaurants and a lot of playing possibilities for the kids. There are wide grass fields with enough shadow places, if preferred.

Easy Traveling

Our place is family friendly. Traveling towards it is a joy for everyone. Lowcost airlines fly on the nearest airport: Bergamo (Orio al Serio). Car rentals are cheap via Goldcar. It’s only 30 minutes driving from the Airport. Our place is only 15 minutes away from the highway. By train it’s also easy: travel to Iseo and take the public boat service to Tavernola Bergamasca. Really good experience!

Famous culture: “Floating Piers”

Thousands of people have tried out the latest installation by conceptual artist Christo – a 3km walkway on water in Lake Iseo.
Queues built up to get on the Floating Piers, made from more than 200,000 interlocking cubes wrapped in yellow nylon, as it opened on Lake Iseo. Christo has warned the experience will be like walking on water – or on the back of a whale. It is the artist’s 23rd large-scale installation.
